Hi! I’m Alicia!
Our family began our plant-based journey in 2015 after trying a long list of elimination diets and testing to resolve my husbands digestive issues.
At a friend’s suggestion, we tried a plant-based diet which not only improved my husband’s symptoms but left both of us feeling younger with more energy and less illness throughout the winter.
A few years later I had my 5th and then 6th boys at 38 and 41 eating a fully plant-based diet. I had great pregnancies and both boys were a very healthy 10+ pounds!
As I dug into the research I came to realize that human beings thrive on plants and that the vast majority of chronic diseases, including heart disease, diabetes, cancer, autoimmune disease and more can be prevented and reversed by diet.
Further, plant-based diets have been shown to improve our mood and productivity.
Being unnecessarily sick makes it so much harder to do the great things we were put on this earth to do.
But knowing what to eat is only the beginning!
Family, social settings, cravings and so much more can make healthy habits feel out of reach.
