Briana’s Poppyseed Dressing – Whole Foods Plant Based
I have always loved, Briana’s Poppyseed Dressing . . . it made any salad totally delicious! But as I’ve tried to scale back our oil intake, this dressing needed a makeover. Now with a cashew base and naturally sweetened, it not only makes your salad taste great but pours on a whole lot of nutrition with it.

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup cashews
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 TBSP apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 TBSP white vinegar or lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 1/2 TBSP maple syrup or add more to taste
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp mustard powder
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1 TBSP poppy seeds

Instructions
- Soak cashews in water for 30 minutes Drain and rinse cashews and blend in high powered blender with all remaining ingredients but poppy seeds. Taste and adjust seasonings if needed, stir in poppy seeds.
