NSA is excited to participate in another Rubik’s Cube Competition in 2020!
Our team made the news last year and we look forward to another great year at the Rubik’s competition.
The competition is open to all NSA students. While we encourage all students to learn to solve the entire cube, last year we were able to include all interested students, even if they could only solve the first one or two layers. We then worked as a team to solve it completely.
The competition includes both a team competition (in which a team of 8 works together to solve 25 cubes) and an optional individual competition to solve the 2×2 and/or the 3×3.

Recommended Cubes and Timers
While a an original Rubik’s cube works well, serious cubers enjoy having this speed cube as well as this official Rubik’s timer. Also the 2×2 Speed cube became available just in time for Eshaan Lokesh and JJ Schick to place among the fastest cubers in the state of Colorado. Congratulations Eshaan and JJ!
ONLY OFFICIAL RUBIK’S CUBES ARE ALLOWED IN THE COMPETITION. We will have a set of 25 standard cubes and one can be borrowed for individual competition if needed.
